Carmel joined THET in 2016 as Research and Evaluation Officer. She haa a Masters in International Development and Intercultural Communication from the University of Sheffield, where she also did her undergraduate degree in Philosophy and French. During her MA Carmel spent time in Kenya where she researched the impact of masculine identity and intergenerational relationships on the development of rural communities. Prior to joining THET Carmel conducted research at Sense International, was a fundraising intern at Action Against Hunger, and most recently worked in a school.
