Funding

Finding funding for your Health Link can be challenging. The following resources may be able to assist you.

  • Health Partnership Scheme – The Health Partnership Scheme is a four-year programme that funds health partnerships to carry out training and capacity building projects in low-income countries. The Scheme also supports UK volunteering as part of health partnerships. The scheme is funded by the UK Department for International Development.  It is managed by THET who has formed a consortium with HLSP to deliver the programme.
  • International Health Link Funding Scheme (IHLFS) - The IHLFS is a 3-year scheme that provides grants, information and support to Health Links. Funded by the UK Department for International Development (DfID) and the Department of Health (DH), it is jointly managed by THET and the British Council. The Scheme makes £1.25 million available to support the work of Health Links each year. The primary purpose of the Scheme is to build the capacity of developing country health services.
