Fundraising Guidance for Health Links

Some questions to ask:

  1. How many people work in your PCT?
  2. What charities do staff at your NHS Trust support? What methods are they using to fundraise?
  3. Does your NHS Trust have charity payroll giving scheme?
  4. Do you host any conferences/seminars?
  5. Do you share fundraising resources with your links (e.g. people, office space, networks)?
  6. Do you have any links with local churches, universities, social clubs (e.g. Rotary Clubs, Women’s Institute etc) and schools?

Thinking about these questions will help make your fundraising more effective.

FUNDRAISING TRAINING & BEST PRACTICE
Resources and tools for better fundraising, including training and finding and applying to Trusts.

FUNDING WEBSITES
There are many websites that provide a high profile free web presence, not just for established charities, but also for the many smaller specialist and local organisations that do not have websites. They promote greater public understanding of the work of charities and how they are managed and are an invaluable source of statistical and financial information for grant makers, researchers and public policy makers.

FUNDRAISING GROUPS
You can use groups to share experience and get valuable fundraising tips.
