A new funding opportunity to help improve Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) measures in low and middle income countries.
This funding opportunity is to offer funding specifically aimed at improving Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) measures in overseas health facilities. It is intended to fund projects that would strengthen the capacity of the overseas country’s health services to cope with future outbreak and emergency situations associated with highly infectious diseases alongside the effective delivery of essential day-to-day health services. All those considering applying should carefully read the eligibility and funding criteria contained in the THET and WHO Project Framework and Grant Overview as these differ from those in previous grant streams.
All established health partnerships are welcome to apply.
The core requirements for the Strengthening Preventative Capacity grants are:
£10,000 to £50,000 for between six and 17 month projects.
Applicants are invited to attend a pre-application webinar that will run through the application process and project planning. The webinar will be held on two occasions: the first is scheduled to take place on Friday 19th June and the second on Monday 22nd June, from 1:00pm to 2:30pm GMT.
