THET is pleased to announce a call for applications for Strategic Start Up grants.

The grants form part of the Health Partnership Scheme (HPS) which is a six-year programme that funds health partnerships to carry out training and capacity-building projects in low-income countries. The Scheme is funded by the UK Department for International Development and managed by THET.

This funding opportunity is to facilitate the development of new Health Partnerships, including the completion of needs assessments and the development of project plans. It is a new category of support open to those with limited global health experience but who are well placed to expand UK health sector engagement in development cooperation through volunteering and partnership engagement. All those considering applying should carefully read the eligibility and funding criteria contained in the Grant Overview as these differ from previous grant streams.
