The University Hospitals Bristol Links Programme builds on the already established University of Bristol link providing post graduate medical education. Multidisciplinary links are being developed between services in the Trust and equivalent departments in Mbarara. Links have been established in Ophthalmology; Gynaecology; Paediatrics and medical equipment engineering. Funds support training and development; mentorship; educational supervision or placements for training in the UK for staff in Mbarara.
