The Greater Glasgow Health Board’s link with Good Shepherd Hospital Eye Clinic has facilitated a visit of a paediatric ophthalmic surgery team to Siteki, Swaziland to provide training to their Swazi counterparts. This Link forms part of the VISION 2020 Links Programme, which has been working since 2004 to improve quality and quantity of eye care training, mainly in Africa, through a formal links process.
