Link Details
This partnership, established in 2006, aims to:
- Build a sustainable programme for the continuing professional development of health librarians.
- Strengthen the capacity to provide training in promoting and accessing health information in Tanzania.
- Develop links with public and hospital libraries and support information services.
- Develop health corners with a focus on HIV/AIDS and women’s health.
“Working in partnership would greatly support our library to build capacity to provide appropriate services and facilities to cope with new challenges and a wider variety of information seekers at the college and throughout Tanzania.” – Tanzania Partner
This partnership is supported by Partnerships in Health Information (Phi) - a UK based Charity that facilitates links between UK based individuals and organisations and those in developing countries.
