This partnership, established in 2006, aims to:

  • Build a sustainable programme for the continuing professional development of health librarians.
  • Strengthen the capacity to provide training in promoting and accessing health information in Tanzania.
  • Develop links with public and hospital libraries and support information services.
  • Develop health corners with a focus on HIV/AIDS and women’s health.

This partnership is supported by Partnerships in Health Information (Phi) - a UK based Charity that facilitates links between UK based individuals and organisations and those in developing countries.
