Workshop for Medical Equipment Partnerships
THET, through the Health Partnership Scheme, is hosting a workshop on Wednesday, 12th October to bring together various stakeholders to explore this question. Participants will review best practice guidance for organisations and individuals engaging in medical equipment partnerships, and discuss different models for supporting hospitals in low- income countries to maintain their equipment.
Who should attend?
- Health ‘Link’/ Partnership coordinators, medical physics staff and other medical professionals interested in being involved with medical equipment partnerships
- Representatives of professional engineering associations who work with medical equipment and are interested in supporting international volunteering
- Representatives of charities that donate medical equipment or provide medical equipment training to low-income countries
- Faculty members of educational institutions involved with medical equipment training and/or engineering and technology student volunteering programs
- Experts in the field of health technology management in low-income countries
