About the Link

The South West Strategic Health Authority and the Kenya Chapter of the Association for Health Information and Libraries in Africa (Ken-AHILA); are building a partnership between health libraries in Kenya and a consortium of libraries in the South West of England. This partnership aims to improve the opportunities for professional development of health librarians in Kenya and to increase the distribution of information relevant to the needs of Kenyan health professionals. In doing so the library partnership seeks to improve health through the dissemination of timely; relevant and reliable health care information. This partnership is supported by Partnerships in Health Information (Phi); a UK based charity that facilitates links between UK based individuals and organisations and those in developing countries.
