This review covers the period July 2014 to June 2015. During this period HCS has improved its overall score to A+.
In the year under review, the implementing partners have exceeded most of the milestones by making steady progress and by delivering against the planned output level results.
This is the fifth year in which the HCS programme has continued to support the delivery of the Essential Packages of Health Services (EPHS) through government facilities in selected regions of Somalia. Strong progress has been made to improve access to the core package of EPHS (1 -4) health services. Targets have been exceeded across the regions for immunization, Antenatal Care (ANC) 3+ coverage, institutional delivery and basic nutrition to children and Couple Years Protection (CYP) through social marketing in Somaliland.
