Here are some of the ways in which your company can get involved:

  • Staff fundraising – Staff fundraising is a great way to get employees involved in contributing to your company’s corporate social responsibilities. It is fun, easy and sociable. Your staff will feel motivated, engage in team-building activities and become more aware of global health issues. We have a number of resources that we can provide you with to properly support your staff to fundraise for THET.
  • Direct project support - Your company can help us make a real difference to improve health systems in developing countries by supporting a specific project relevant to the nature of your business and your CSR priorities. You will receive regular reports and updates on how your support is making a difference to the lives of men, women and children in some of the poorest countries.   • Event sponsorship -  You can support THET by helping to sponsor one of our events. Each year, THET hosts two concerts to raise essential funds for our vital work. You can help by sponsoring the event costs. Your support will be acknowledged in all event publicity materials and on our website and e-bulletin.   • Gifts in-kind - You can make a huge difference to THET simply by donating various essential items (eg medical equipment, office equipment, printing and publicity materials, etc). By teaming up with THET, you are ensured that almost 90% of every donation goes directly to support our projects. Our administrative costs are one of the lowest which means you can rest assured that the people we help will get the most out of your generous donation. Trusts and foundations

We have been successful in obtaining project grants from institutional donors including DfID and Comic Relief to cover the costs of some of these projects. However, like many small charities, we struggle to meet the increasing demands on our core funding. Core funds are essential to pay our small staff, operate our offices and communicate with our partners, so that our programmes can be run effectively and efficiently and so we can respond with flexibility and independence to the most urgent needs of our overseas partners. Your gift continues to give us the freedom of action to respond to the priority needs of our overseas partners.
