Louise Bury

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager

Louise joined THET in June 2022. She has over 20 years of experience working in international development and global health providing technical support in the design, delivery and evaluation of maternal and child health programmes. Prior to joining THET, Louise worked as a consultant and director of her global research company where she has advised some of the largest international non-government organisations (NGOs), bilateral donors and private foundations on monitoring and evaluation (M&E) for large scale programmes designed to improve service delivery and policy for women’s health and rights.

Louise has post graduate qualifications in Social Anthropology and Applied Population Research from the University of Edinburgh and Exeter, respectively, and has technical expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methods.  She has extensive work experience in Africa, Asia and the UK and  is passionate about working closely with partners to ensure M&E is responsive to the needs of organisations and is fit for purpose so that evidence can be used effectively to inform learning, decision making and policy change.
