Our official relations agreement dates back to 2015 and we are pleased to have secured a further three years
Our joint work with WHO began with THET’s leadership role in the delivery of the WHO APPS programme.
We are currently working in partnership with WHO to further health systems strengthening through programmes such as the Twinning Partnerships for Improvement.
We regularly engage with the WHO supporting advocacy on global health themes such as Surgery and Anaesthesia and Health Technology Management
We deliver seminars on the Health Partnership Approach and actively engage in the World Health Assembly and the Global Forum on HRH
From triple-billion goals to the part that community health workers and primary health care play in Universal Health Coverage, this year’s Assembly was a fantastic celebration of the continuing world focus on UHC. Our Policy Manager, Graeme Chisholm spent the week meeting with Ministers and Permanent Secretary’s from our country programmes to discuss how health partnerships have contributed to the development of their health systems and the future part they can play as well as continuing to strengthen our relationship with the WHO.
