Report on proposed alignment strategy between diploma in Food and Nutrition (NRDC) and BSc in Human Nutrition (UNZA)

The Tropical Health and Education Trust (THET) was engaged by the SUN Fund Management to develop a strategy for the alignment of the diploma in Food and Nutrition from NRDC and the BSc in Human Nutrition from UNZA. A preliminary step was a consultation exercise to examine the need for and any obstacles to alignment. This step was conducted in 2015; the report concluded that an alignment was desirable and feasible, and led to specific recommendations around the possible composition of the aligned courses (Barker 2015).
