Collaboration between The Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain & Ireland and THET seeks to map anaesthesia work overseas.
AAGBI and Tropical Health & Education Trust (THET) have teamed up to gather and share information about anaesthetists involved in international projects in developing countries. We’re asking those working in anaesthesia to tell us about their overseas work. The information will be collated into a database and map which will be shared to facilitate collaboration.
We're looking for anaesthetists who are currently or have recently been involved in work overseas in low and middle income countries (on short or long term placements) to complete the survey. This includes those involved with health partnerships or institutional links, NGOs such as MSF & ICRC or providing teaching e.g. SAFE course & PTC amongst others.
The Survey of Anaesthesia Global Collaboration (conducted by Eventure Research) is open until the end of November and can be accessed here: http://www.enventure.co.uk/overseas_survey.htm
