Sheba is a global health professional and public health leader with fifteen years work experience in multi-sectoral programme management including health systems strengthening, child protection, workforce development, multi-disciplinary research implementation as well as networking and partnership building. She has a Bachelors degree of Dental Surgery and a Masters of Public Health from Makerere University.
Prior to joining THET, Sheba served as Research Director at the AfriChild Centre (Centre for the study of the African Child), Deputy Executive Director at the African Field Epidemiology Network (AFENET)-a regional non-profit network organization of over 20 African countries and as lecturer at Makerere University School of Public Health. She is passionate about scientific writing and has worked as Managing Editor at the Pan African Medical Journal (PAMJ) and Journal of Interventional Epidemiology and Public Health (JIEPH).
Vincent joined THET in December 2021 with over 10 years of solid experience in Programme development, budgeting, costing, co-ordination, implementation as well as monitoring and evaluation.
He has implemented, coordinated and managed programmes in the thematic areas of Child Protection, Gender Based Violence (GBV), Palliative Care (Cancer & HIV), Orthopedics, Refugees, Disaster Risk Reduction, Education, Agribusiness, Policy Advocacy as well as Construction & Procurement in Medical settings.
He has worked in Zambia under the Fredskorpset Norway Exchange Program and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Social Administration. He is also currently finalizing his Master’s in Social Sector Planning and Management from Makerere University.
Sheila graduated in Business Administration from Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Uganda. She has worked in South Sudan for Confident Children out of Conflict (CCC), an organisation that provides food, accommodation and education to street children.
After this experience in South Sudan, Sheila tool a career break to focus on her family and her passion for abstract art. She joined THET in May 2016 and works as Administrative Officer in THET’s Uganda Office.
