Eunice joined THET with more than 20 years of experience. After working for many years in the UK, in 2012 Eunice relocated to her homeland in Zambia, where she has worked as Executive Director for the Network of Zambian People Living with HIV, a position she held until she joined THET.
She has extensive expertise working in health, having served as Consultant for the Global Network of People living with HIV, and, more recently, as Capacity Strengthening Coordinator for the AIDS and Right Alliance for Southern Africa. She has held positions including Head of Policy at African HIV Policy Network in the UK and for many years she has been an active member of the Zambia UK Health Workforce Alliance.
Volunteer Programme Manager - Zambia
Consider is a computer Scientist (BSc Computing degree) and a Strategic Planner (MSc SP) by profession. A fellow researcher (1st and co-author) of several international published papers. His passion is to see a healthier world that embraces technology as a developmental tool.
Consider has experience in high level stakeholder mapping and engagement, Project planning, development, implementation and management, monitoring and evaluation, grant proposals, manning international volunteers at all levels from diverse backgrounds. Consider has wider experience working with Private and public institutions.
Programme Manager – Zambia
Generous Mukanga has more than thirteen years of progressive professional experience in providing programmatic support in program implementation. He has over 10 years’ experience in senior management positions working with various international organisations and managing large scale grants and projects more than USD2M+. Generous is highly proficient in compliance with diverse donor requirements such as USAID/DFID and has demonstrable experience in managing human resources for health programs and working in leadership capacities including.
Generous works with partner organisations to identify issues that require advocacy interventions and facilitates the necessary linkages and networks to support Human Recourses for Health programmes. Generous has experience of building positive working relationships with senior government officials and has extensive local knowledge, providing advice on governmental protocols and processes specific to Zambia. He enjoys working within an international team.
Finance and Admin Assistant - Zambia Office
With a work history in finance and dministration, Ethel holds a diploma in Accounting (AAT) and worked for Concern Worldwide Zambia from July 2011 to June 2017, as an Administrative Assistant, a position she held until she joined THET. She also worked for a micro-financing company before joining the NGO sector.
She has a passion for development related issues and studied for a bachelor’s degree in Development Studies at Zambian Open University (ZAOU).
Ethel has volunteered with Youth Advocacy and Lobby Network (YALON), a Zambian based Organisation as well as holding a position of Coordinator while volunteering for Movement for Preservation of Children’s Rights (MPCR).
